The kickoff meeting of Erasmus+ GOAL project took place from the 11th to the 16th of November in Olivenza, Spain. Darko Petelinšek and Mitja Logar attended it as the representatives of Primary School Dramlje.
The more than 2000 km long journey took us from Ljubljana via Zürich to Lisbon by plane, and then by bus to Olivenza. There we spent four extremely well planned and successful days, met the teachers we are going to be working with closely for the next two years and the place to which we are going to return together with a group of students in May 2017.
At the meeting, we resolved numerous questions and dilemmas that would have been difficult to address without personal contact between the participants. We set the deadlines for the completion of planned activities, the protocol for choosing the students that are going to attend the mobilities, the guidelines for the all important dissemination of the project, ways of ensuring the quality of the project, selected the best logo suggestions by students of the participating countries and determined the dates for all future meetings and mobilities.
We need to stress that we were welcomed with open arms in Olivenza and fascinated by the school, the nature but above all the people we met there. If the morning shows the day, we are in for a successful and content rich project in the period between 2015 and 2017.
